Bernardo is a Principal at Pointe and has served as deputy of the General Practice. Since joining the firm directly from university nearly a decade ago, Bernardo has developed expertise in delivering growth strategy, competitive analysis, and commercial diligence for Fortune 500 corporations and private equity funds. Bernardo advises clients across a range of industries, most recently leading engagements in the professional services, education, and industrial sectors.

Bernardo is a growth advisor focused on helping companies build competitive advantage via a deep understanding of a firm’s distinctive capabilities contextualized by relevant customer, competitor and market forces. His work has spanned across organic and inorganic mandates, sustainability and ESG investments, and the development of scalable and defensible talent models.

Bernardo’s work has traversed the globe, with extensive experience in Latin America, Western Europe, and Southeast Asia. To date, he has scoped, managed, and delivered over >50 international market studies and diligence projects. Relatedly, Bernardo speaks three languages fluently and has worked abroad in the public, multilateral, and non-profit spaces.
