Kristen Chang

Kristen is a founding member of Pointe and currently leads our Industrials practice. She brings more than 20 years of experience in helping Fortune 500 companies generate outsized outcomes by building sustained competitive advantages. Kristen specializes in an evidence-based advisory approach to push corporate leadership teams to activate strategic insights.

 

Kristen advises clients across a range of industries, including advanced manufacturing, extractive industries, building products, machinery and equipment, and agribusiness. She has extensive experience across both strategic and tactical engagements, informing high impact capital allocation decisions. Her work spans both top-line growth topics, such as pricing, path-to-market, new market entry, new product launch, etc., and operational optimization, such as supply chain management, vendor strategy, and performance improvement for manufacturing.

 

Prior to Pointe, Kristen worked in banking with Nissho Iwai Corporation, a major Japanese trading company; supported UN Ambassador Madeleine Albright at the United States Mission to the United Nations as an economic and political advisor; and served in Europe for the Defense Intelligence Agency.
